Westbound Oakey At Las Vegas Boulevard Closed April 12-30

Temporary Closure For Paving Speeds Up The Three-Year Project

By 6 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2021, westbound Oakey Boulevard will be closed at Las Vegas Boulevard; access to westbound Oakey from Las Vegas Boulevard will remain closed until intersection paving is complete, reopening by 5 p.m. April 30. One lane northbound and one lane southbound will remain open on Las Vegas Boulevard; access will continue to be open to eastbound Oakey from Las Vegas Boulevard as work in the intersection continues.

Wyoming and Main Street are recommended alternate routes to access west Oakey Boulevard.

Closing access to west Oakey at Las Vegas Boulevard will facilitate paving preparation and paving on both Las Vegas Boulevard and westbound Oakey.

The work is part of the three-year, Las Vegas Boulevard – Stewart to Sahara Improvement Project that began in April 2020.
