Local Vegas fashion designer Catherine Trifiletti is hosting the first-ever Virtual Global Hospitality Fashion Show that airs internationally on Tuesday, March 23, at 1:00 p.m. PST/ 4:00 p.m. EST.
“I am thrilled to represent the city of Las Vegas and the United States,” said Trifiletti. “Our unique hospitality designs provide the ultimate luxurious style and comfort to hospitality workers around the world,” said Trifiletti. “I have worked very closely with the U.S Commercial Service here in Las Vegas to host this international event.”
The First Virtual Global Hospitality Fashion Show
Due to government mandates and travel restrictions, traveling internationally for trade and fashion shows was not possible. Wanting to stay connected, Trifiletti decided to host a virtual international fashion show. With the assistance of the U.S Commercial Service in Las Vegas, Trifiletti successfully involved other countries.
“As part of our free export counseling, Catherine and I brainstormed ideas on how to reach a global audience without traveling during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Catherine came up with this fabulous idea. It’s one of the most creative trade promotion events I have seen”, says Alex Holmgren, Commercial Officer with the U.S. Commercial Service’s Las Vegas Export Assistance Center. “From there, it took off and we have been helping her make connections all over the globe”.
The U.S. Commercial Service is the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce and is dedicated to helping U.S. companies succeed in the global marketplace.
The virtual fashion show was filmed at Circa Resort & Casino and will feature a 70-piece collection showcasing hospitality designs ranging from concierge, spa, pool, bellman, and much more. The show will air internationally in the U.S, UAE, China, Italy, England, France, and Asia, Tuesday, March 23, at 1:00 p.m. PST/ 4:00 p.m. EST.
