Carlo’s Bake Shop, PizzaCake, and Boss Cafe Join the Celebration with Cookies for Costumes Halloween Weekend Through Halloween
Buddy Valastro’s Restaurant Group and Carlo’s Bake Shop gear up for a spooktacular Halloween throughout the concepts beginning Halloween Weekend through Halloween 2023. Costumed sweets and savory lovers, young and old, can delight in the fun Cookies for Costumes at Boss Cafe at The LINQ Hotel + Experience and Harrah’s Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 29, and Carlo’s Bake Shop at Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas on Halloween day, Tuesday, Oct. 31.
On Sunday, Oct. 29 Buddy V’s Ristorante’s popular Sunday brunch turns into a fun and frightful morning of tricks and treats with Buddy’s Spooky Brunch (insert witch laugh). Beginning at 10:30 a.m., Buddy V’s transforms into a fantastical celebration of brunch favorites, spooky cocktails, and frighteningly delicious desserts.
Brunch-goers are encouraged to dress up and participate in Buddy’s Costume Contest to win the top prize of Brunch for Two. Buddy’s Spooky Brunch is $55 per person/$24 per child under 10; tax and gratuity not included. Bottomless witches brew including sangria, mimosas, bellinis, domestic beers and wines by the glass available for an additional $20 per person. In this unique, buffet-style brunch, menu highlights include charcuterie and cheese, fresh salads including the popular Caesar, Caprese and Rustica salads, Tomato & Basil Soup, and a carving station with Roasted Maple Glazed Ham and Grilled Peppercorn-Crusted NY Striploin.
Signature brunch items include Mac n’ Cheese Carbonara, Grandma’s Meatballs, Sausage & Broccolini Orecchiette, Chicken Parm, Hoboken Chicken “Wings,” Roasted Mushroom & Truffle Pizza, and more, as well as breakfast options such as Sunday Frittata, Roasted Potato Hash, along with eggs and breakfast meats.
New, for-the-table options include a variety of house-made omelets including My Cuz Vinny (bacon, spinach, roasted mushroom, cheddar) and Fredo’s Kiss (ham, mozzarella, parm, truffle alfredo), Ciabatta French Toast with toasted almond mascarpone cream and Lemon-Blueberry Pancakes with whipped butter & syrup.
Carlo’s’ Corner featured breakfast favorites including butter croissants, pastries, fruit salad, and cereal. No signature Buddy V’s brunch is complete without a variety of sweets and this event does not disappoint; the selection of timeless treats includes a Witch’s Table of Spider Cheesecakes, Chocolate Mousse Cauldrons, Cannoli Tiramisu, Cotton Candy, Raspberry-Lemon Meringue Bars, Banana Fosters Bundt Cake, S’mores Bites, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, assorted Italian cookies, and more.
