2021 Marks 20th Year Earning Prestigious Four-Star Rating
The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas has received multiple accolades from Forbes Travel Guide, including a milestone anniversary on the Forbes Travel Guide Four Star Award list and its inaugural inclusion on the Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED® list, making it one of the first resorts in the country to be listed for its extensive COVID protocols.
FORBES TRAVEL GUIDE FOUR STAR AWARD
The Venetian Resort once again was named to the annual Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards, a distinction it has maintained for the 20th consecutive year. In addition, The Palazzo Tower, which is part of The Venetian Resort, held its Four-Star rating for the 13th consecutive year.
Forbes Travel Guide is the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, and spas. Properties were inspected prior to the pandemic and when regional restrictions allowed for the safe return of guests.
Other resort amenities receiving the prestigious Four-Star award include Mott 32, a culinary icon in contemporary Chinese cuisine; the critically acclaimed and award-winning steakhouse CUT by Wolfgang Puck; and Canyon Ranch Spa + Fitness, the luxury spa retreat at The Venetian Resort.
“Maintaining the Four-Star rating for 20 years exemplifies The Venetian Resort’s commitment to guest service and the efforts of our Team Members,” said George Markantonis, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. “And now, in this new era of travel, we have created The Venetian Clean Commitment to ensure our guests have the comfort of knowing we’ve taken additional steps to enhance their safety while still providing a great guest experience.”
SHARECARE HEALTH SECURITY VERIFICATION WITH FORBES TRAVEL GUIDE
In December, The Venetian Resort was among the first hotels in the world to become Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED® with Forbes Travel Guide. The comprehensive facility verification helps ensure that guests and travel planners can book with confidence at properties that have appropriate health safety procedures in place.
Developed by Forbes Travel Guide, the global authority on genuine service, and digital health industry leader Sharecare, the comprehensive verification covers more than 360 standards across health and hygiene protocols, cleaning products and procedures, ventilation, physical distancing, the guest experience, and health safety communication with guests and employees. Hotels are required to verify their health protocols on an ongoing basis to ensure continued compliance with the most up-to-date global health standards.
This verification comes with an easily identifiable “seal of approval” – the Sharecare VERIFIED® with Forbes Travel Guide badge – based on a hotel’s compliance with expert-validated best practices that minimize the risk and impact of COVID-19 and potential future public health events.
The Venetian Resort was one of the first major resorts to release its extensive COVID protocols in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Guided by the Venetian Clean Commitment, the program includes more than 800 cleanliness and operational protocols and incorporates guidance from national, state and local agencies.
The Venetian Clean Commitment has also been verified by Bureau Veritas, a nearly 200-year-old world leader in testing, inspection, and certification, with its Safe Guard Hygiene Excellence and Safety Label. The Cleveland Clinic serves as the Medical Advisor for Bureau Veritas’ health, safety and sustainability programs including Safe Guard™. The partnership between The Venetian and Bureau Veritas should provide comfort that our resort — from the suites of our hotel towers to the meeting space of the Congress Center — is ready for the enjoyment of our guests.
