Similar to the Indiana Jones Ride at Disneyland, the 5,100-square-foot realistic model of a historic underground mine is the only simulated underground mine of its kind in Nevada.

The 1.4-acre Mine Experience includes a Visitor Center and a hands-on interactive Nevada history experience where visitors can pan for gold, experiment with rocks and minerals, learn about the mining industry, and tour the grounds where artifacts of the past are displayed.

We are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC on the 1st Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. No new entries after 1:30 p.m. will be allowed. Come and see the only simulated underground gold mine in the state. Explore our surface exhibits and our beautiful Visitor’s Center. Browse in our Train Caboose Gift Shop to bring home a remembrance from your visit. Bring the whole family and enjoy a day at The Mine Experience.
Reservations for field trips may be made up to 12 months in advance. For all Clark County School District affiliated educational groups it is your group’s responsibility to arrange for transportation. When filling out your CCSD bus request make sure you use 57 Lynn Lane in Henderson or the Location #701929. The maximum number of students allowed per school is 42 per date reserved. Please provide sufficient supervision for the students in your group.
