Join NV Women Conquer ALZ on the Longest Day to Support Alzheimer’s Research and Care
Nevada Women Conquer Alzheimer’s is proud to announce the inaugural Booze Crawl for a Cause, a charity event aimed at raising funds to help end Alzheimer’s through research, care, and support.
Taking place on June 23 and 24, this exciting event will bring together local microbreweries, unique craft beers, delectable food trucks, and a pet/family-friendly atmosphere for a memorable experience.
“You never think that it will happen to you and your family, but when you meet so many who have been impacted by this unforgiving disease, you know that you need to do something about it,” Laura Stubberud, Chairperson of NV Women Conquer ALZ and Partner at StubberudCuen, Ltd. “We are on a mission to end Alzheimer’s. We invite the community to support this effort and enjoy some craft beers and food that can only be found in Southern Nevada.”
Not only will attendees have the chance to savor exceptional brews, but they will also be supporting a crucial cause. In Nevada, the Alzheimer’s Association report estimates that there are approximately 49,000 people living with dementia in 2020, and further projects this will increase to 64,000 by 2025, representing a 30.6% increase over five years as the population of Nevada continues to rapidly age.
Proceeds from ticket sales will be directed towards funding vital research initiatives, providing much-needed care, and offering support services to those affected by Alzheimer’s.
At the Booze Crawl for a Cause, attendees will have the opportunity to sample and enjoy a wide selection of craft beers from esteemed breweries within Southern Nevada’s renowned Henderson Artisan Booze District. Participating breweries include Astronomy Aleworks, Bad Beat Brewing, Crafthaus Brewery, Deadwood Meadery, and Vegas Valley Winery. Exclusive craft beers, unavailable anywhere else, will be showcased, ensuring a truly one-of-a-kind tasting experience for all beer enthusiasts.
This two-day event will take place at the Henderson Artisan Booze District, located at 7360 Eastgate Rd. 123, Henderson, NV. Alongside the beer tastings, attendees can indulge in delectable dishes from some of Southern Nevada’s finest food trucks, ensuring a delightful culinary experience for all.
Whether you are a craft beer enthusiast, a supporter of Alzheimer’s research, or simply looking for a fun-filled family outing, the Booze Crawl for a Cause is the perfect event to mark on your calendar. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a positive impact while enjoying exceptional brews and delicious food.
