Go BEST!, Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club Las Vegas, Cat’s Meow, Dick’s Last Resort, Philips and Cardio Partners Are Joining Forces To Save Lives
Local Las Vegas businesses are teaming up to host the inaugural Gemini Celebration Charity Golf Outing at Bali Hai Golf Club on Saturday, June 10.
Go BEST!, Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club Las Vegas, Cat’s Meow, Dick’s Last Resort (Fremont St.), Philips and Cardio Partners are combining resources to raise funds to benefit the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation’s Save-A-Life In Our Community PAD Program whose mission is to ensure that each squad car has access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
“Go BEST! Bundles has teamed up with local businesses to develop a program that not only helps source top-of-the-line AEDs at the best price possible but also ensures that each of our law enforcement officers receives the training they will need to save a life,” said Andrea Woods, Director Of Community Relations. “In addition, we would like to open the training up to the community because you never know whose life will be saved. As a team, we are committed to the ongoing support, education and training that will make this program a success.”
“By supporting the LVMPD Foundation at events such as the Gemini Celebration Charity Golf Outing, you are helping us fund the purchase of critical equipment for the police department,” said Tom Kovach, executive director of the LVMPD Foundation. “We appreciate the participating sponsors of this event who are committed to supporting metro in its mission to protect and serve the residents, businesses and visitors of Southern Nevada.”
Notable guests include Harry Mohney, Founder of Déjà Vu, and Mayor Carolyn Goodman who will be arriving via helicopter. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and tee time is at 10 a.m. Minimum donations are $300 per person or $1,000 per foursome.
