L.A. Comedy Club at Edgewater has announced a May lineup to debut the club’s newly opened Dragon’s Edge showroom at Edgewater Casino Resort.
L.A. Comedy Club at Edgewater offers shows at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. nightly from Wednesday through Sunday.
The club’s resident lineup includes the Redneck Comedy Show starring James Michael at 7 p.m. Peter Berman, Quinn Dahle, Jay Reid, Carlos Rodriguez, Edwin San Juan and Geoff Keith, whose combined credits span CBS, ABC, MTV, BET, Comedy Central and more, will headline the club’s 9 p.m. shows. - 7 p.m. show starring James Michael
James Michael, Mississippi native, is a part-time tattoo artist, fitness model and comedic magician. Known for his sleight of hand, comedic timing and fun antics on stage, Michael has brought laughs around the world for more than 30 years by means of cruise ships, corporate functions and television shows. Michael’s sleight of hand, comedy and sheer country madness has placed him as one of Las Vegas’ top 10 magicians for three consecutive years and has been awarded the silver medal winner of the best magic show in Las Vegas in 2020.
- 9 p.m.: Touring headliners featuring top national comics
- Thursday, May 11: No 9 p.m. show; Jay Reid, the scheduled headlining comedian will be part of the 7 p.m. show.

- Wednesday, May 3 through Sunday, May 7: Quinn Dahle
Quinn Dahle, originally from Minnesota, has appeared on “The Tonight Show,” Showtime, Comedy Central, “Lopez Tonight” and “Carson Daly.” He has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy including Robin Williams, Tim Allen and Brad Garrett. Dahle, known for his comedic and improvisational crowd work, has a universal audience and keeps them coming back for more.
- Wednesday, May 10 through Sunday, May 14: Jay Reid
Jay Reid is a stand-up comedian and Las Vegas native, who started performing at small clubs when he was 19. Reid’s first big break came when he was chosen to be a contestant on BET’s “Coming to the Stage” comedy competition. After appearing on the show, Reid started booking performances at notable comedy clubs such as the Laugh Factory in Hollywood. After winning comedian Bill Bellamy’s “Who’s Got Jokes?” he toured alongside Bellamy as well as being in Showtime’s “Ladies Night Out Comedy Special.”
- Wednesday, May 17 through Sunday, May 21: Carlos Rodriguez
Carlos Rodriguez lets his inner child come out on stage full of passion, excitement and energy with stories about life and his childhood experiences growing up in a large family. His clever and approachable style of comedy has taken him to some of the most prestigious clubs across the country and in Las Vegas.
- Wednesday, May 24 through Sunday, May 28: Edwin San Juan
Edwin San Juan is known for sharing his multicultural life experiences, his observational humor and hilarious word play. Making his first film debut alongside co-star Felipe Esparza and Paul Rodriguez in “I’m Not Like That No More” in 2010, San Juan has entertained American troops on the USO tour “Around the World in Eight Days” and made various television appearances including Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” Showtime’s “Comics without Borders,” BET’s “Comic View” and “The Payaso Comedy Slam” on Showtime among others. Voted “Best Comedian on the Las Vegas Strip,” by Las Vegas Weekly, San Juan is also the creator and executive producer of “SlantED Comedy,” a showcase of Asian American stand-up comedians available on Showtime.
- Wednesday, May 31 through Sunday, June 4: Geoff Keith
Geoff Keith, from Los Angeles, California was voted Orange County’s Funniest Person in 2005 and spent the following year touring the country opening for Pablo Francisco. In 2011, Keith was named by Campus Activities Magazine as one of their “Hot Comics” and was one of five people nominated the following year for Comedian of the Year. Keith has appeared on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” and “Pablo Francisco’s: OUCH!,” “The Late Late Show” on CBS and “Comics Unleashed” on ABC, among others.
