Celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Water Street Plaza with Food, Music and Drinks
Cinco de Mayo is open to all ages and features performances by GRAMMY-nominated artists
Come party on Water Street Plaza during the City of Henderson’s Cinco de Mayo Celebration featuring live music, drinks and food on Friday, May 5!
The Cinco de Mayo fiesta kicks off with the Las Vegas High School Mariachi Band and features performances by the following highly acclaimed Mexican bands:
Ellas A popular Latin group trio is comprised of Suemy, Nelly, and Melinda, who entertain audiences with a blend of mariachi and modern music. Their angelic harmonies, combined with guitars, guitarrons, and violins, have earned them numerous accolades, including a Grammy nomination and a Grammy award in their individual musical careers.
Villalobos Brothers
One of the most well-known Mexican trio bands today, the Brothers expertly showcase their cultural heritage by innovative compositions and arrangements that fuse Mexican folk music with the complex harmonies of jazz and classical music. The ensemble has collaborated with legendary musicians including Grammy winners Bruce Springsteen, Dolly Parton, Antonio Sánchez, Regina Carter, Eduardo Magallanes and many more.
Local food truck favorites, like Good Bad Delicious, I Heart Tacos, Cocktail Carts and Happy Ending Chocolate, will be available throughout the Cinco de Mayo festivities.
