There are no siestas, only fiestas at Borracha Mexican Cantina!
This Cinco de Mayo, the Mexican restaurant located at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, will say “¡salud!” with a night of nonstop fun, including a live mariachi band, DJ and tequila specials from 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday, May 5.
Cinco celebrators can soak up the lively atmosphere with festive tunes from a live mariachi band from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by electric beats from DJelani from 7 to 11 p.m.
While enjoying the music, guests can savor tequila specials, including Espolon Blanco shots, priced at $12; Espolon Reposado shots, priced at $11; the spicy paloma featuring Espolon Blanco, Ancho Reyes Aperol liqueur and Fever Tree pink grapefruit tonic and lime, priced at $16; the Desperado cocktail, prepared with Espolon tequila, house-made sangrita, Modelo Especial lime, chicharron with a Tajín rim, priced at $16; and the blackberry mule, crafted with Espolon Blanco tequila, blackberries, lime juice and Fever Tree ginger beer, priced at $16.
Guests can also sip on one of Borracha’s signature margaritas, such as the mango margarita, made with Espolon tequila, mango, fresh lime juice and agave nectar, priced at $15.
For the ultimate Cinco de Mayo experience, Borracha also offers its signature margaritas in a 32-ounce pitcher, such as its blood orange margarita, priced at $45.
While indulging in tequila, partygoers can indulge in Borracha’s full menu featuring upscale, authentic Mexican cuisine. Selections include cheese, chicken or carne asada enchiladas, all topped with the choice of green poblano sauce or the signature roasted red chili sauce and crema agria, priced starting at $14; slow-roasted pork carnitas, served with guacamole, green tomatillo sauce and soft corn tortillas, priced at $23; or the BBQ chicken tamales, featuring a rich tamale corn cake and topped with braised chicken, pico de gallo and micro cilantro, priced at $15.
