More than 600 stair climbers of varied abilities tackled all 108 floors and 1,455 steps up the iconic STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod today (Feb. 26) for the American Lung Association in Nevada’s Scale The STRAT.
The annual “Fight For Air” stair climb is the American Lung Association in Nevada’s major fundraiser of the year and helps fund the nonprofit’s lung health education, advocacy, and research efforts.
As of right now, Scale The STRAT climbers and supporters have raised more than $240,000 for the American Lung Association’s mission of healthy lungs and clean air.
Fundraising stays open until March 15, 2023, at scalethestrat.org.
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has been the presenting sponsor since the Scale The STRAT’s inception, and every year The STRAT donates team members, services, and use of the facility for this popular athletic fundraising event.
AND THE WINNER IS…
The overall winner of Scale The STRAT 2023 is 28-year-old Soh Wai Ching of Malaysia who is currently the #1 ranked tower runner in the world by the Towerrunning World Association. (Name pronounced Saw Why Chin.)
