Tours Provide Exciting Family-Friendly Adventures in Southern Nevada
Lake Mead Mohave Adventures (LMMA) announces the highly anticipated return of its Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures this spring.
Relaunching for its historic 40th season, visitors will have the opportunity to take the Hoover Dam Raft Tour and Hoover Dam Postcard Tour every Thursday through Sunday beginning Thursday, March 2.
Additionally, the first 500 visitors booking tours beginning April 1, will receive a Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures branded waterproof dry bag valued at over $25 to keep items dry and safe while boating, swimming and rafting.
“Since 1983, these tours have provided generations of visitors with the ultimate Colorado River adventure,” said Chad Taylor, director of marketing and guest experience, Lake Mead Mohave Adventures. “Combining breathtaking views of Hoover Dam with relaxing and informative rides down the river, these tours continue to serve as the best family-friendly activity during the spring and summer months.”
Offering memorable excursions along the Black Canyon National Water Trail on the majestic Colorado River, all tours feature up-close photo opportunities at the base of the Hoover Dam beneath the Mike O’Callaghan Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge—the widest single-arch concrete bridge in the Western Hemisphere.
Visitors enjoy a journey down the Colorado River while riding motor-assisted, inflatable rafts through the spectacular Black Canyon. Expert guides share their knowledge of this magnificent geological area and its native fauna, including the desert bighorn sheep, osprey and great blue heron.
