BattleBots “DESTRUCT-A-THON”, the world’s premier robot combat competition, is now open at the BattleBots Arena in Las Vegas.
The brand-new, daily theater show features live robot-on-robot carnage, never-before-seen combat robots and celebrity hosts Bil Dwyer and Steve Judkins.
Containing all the drama, action and destruction of the world-famous TV series viewed in more than 150 countries, fights taking place during each 75-minute-long “BATTLEBOTS: DESTRUCT-A-THON” show are real, and no one—not even the drivers—know which robot will be victorious each night.
The show delights audiences of all ages, who shout “Fight, fight, fight!” as the battles get underway and cheer wildly for their favorite bots. “DESTRUCT-A-THON” provides a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat excitement no other Las Vegas show offers
Each show consists of six one-on-one robot battles—the results of which are not only unpredictable but also sure to be chock full of surprises as the bots and their weapons—such as deadly spinning blades that can slice through steel-like butter and flame throwers that can shoot fire 6 feet into the air—take over the arena.
Weighing up to 300 pounds—as much as an NFL lineman— “DESTRUCT-A-THON” robots include many of the most famous which have delighted millions of fans all over the world. With names such as Witch Doctor, Kraken, Mammoth, Hypershock, Ginsu, Malice, Nightmare, Overkill, Tazbot and Whiplash – the lineup also includes new robots created specifically for the live show.
Las Vegas audiences will have the unparalleled chance to see new robots, Chopper and Diablo, before they are featured on the TV series.
“BATTLEBOTS: DESTRUCT-A-THON” shows take place Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 12 p.m. at the BattleBots Arena next to the Las Vegas Strip.
