Hot N Juicy Crawfish Spices up Mardi Gras with Crawfish Eating Contest, Feb. 21
Known for its Cajun flare, Hot N Juicy Crawfish is bringing its annual Mardi Gras Crawfish Eating Contest to its brand-new location at Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino.
On Feb. 21, guests can celebrate Fat Tuesday all day with $7 Hurricane cocktails and join in on an all-you-can-eat crawfish competition beginning at 8 p.m.
Grand prizes for the contest include a $200 Hot N Juicy gift card for the first-place winner, a $100 Hot N Juicy gift card for the runner-up and a $50 Hot N Juicy gift card for third place. Contest participants will be chosen through a raffle, and anyone interested in participating is encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before the competition begins to enter their name in the drawing.
Following its recent opening on Feb. 2, the latest downtown restaurant marks Hot N Juicy Crawfish’s fifth location in Nevada and 13th location nationwide. The fan-favorite eatery occupies 8,750 square feet on the ground floor and caters to visitors’ spicy cravings with a range of fresh and flavorful specials for a customizable experience.
Available by the pound with a choice of seasoning and spice level, guests can choose from crawfish, Dungeness, blue crab, snow or king crab legs, green or black mussels, clams, shrimp and lobster.
Guests can also add raw oysters, calamari, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, potato fries, pork skin, catfish and etouffee to their feast.
Located on the corner of 3rd Street and Stewart Street, across from the Mob Museum, Hot N Juicy Crawfish adds to Downtown Grand’s impressive collection of dining experiences, revitalizing 3rd Street and activating the dynamic pedestrian corridor to Fremont Street.
