Customer-created doughnut “The Heart Beat” leads Pinkbox’s selection of Valentine’s Day-themed treats
Valentine’s Day is Tuesday and there is no better way to show love than with a sweet treat from Pinkbox Doughnuts. Among its holiday-themed products, Pinkbox is featuring “The Heart Beat,” the doughnut that won its doughnut design competition held in partnership with American Medical Response (AMR) and MedicWest last year.
“Pinkbox offers more than a dozen Valentine-themed doughnuts that are delectable treats sure to make your loved one smile from ear to ear,” said Judith Siegel, owner of Pinkbox Doughnuts. “Our Valentine’s Day doughnut line-up is even more special this year with the addition of “The Heart Beat,” created by Kristal Mast, a Las Vegas paramedic with MedicWest.”
“The Heart Beat” is a red frosted heart-shaped doughnut filled with strawberry whip and topped with pipette of strawberry filling and EKG heartbeat décor.
Pinkbox’s other Valentine’s-themed doughnuts include a chocolate frosted raised heart decorated with various sayings like “Text me,” “QT pie,” “Eat me,” and “Call me.”
The holiday doughnut menu is rounded out with the Valentine’s Pinky, Valentine’s Pooh, Pink Rainbow Ring, Valentine’s Unicorn, Valentine’s Diva, Valentine S’mores, Sweetheart Bar, and Love You Berry Much.
Pinkbox also specially decorated its mini doughnut holes, Pee Weez, for Valentine’s Day and offers a vegan option with its Vegan Valentine doughnut, a chocolate frosted vegan raised shell topped with Valentine’s sprinkles and filled with cherry filling.
Pinkbox’s Doughnut of the Month also pays homage to the holiday of love. The Pink Face DoughCro, is a pink sugar croissant doughnut filled with strawberry rhubarb and topped with torched pink meringue.
