It will be an action-packed March at the Orleans Arena with the return of the University Credit Union West Coast Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament (March 2-7) and 2023 Hercules Tires Western Athletic Conference Tournament (March 8-11).
The Arena also welcomes the National Invitation Tournament for the first time on March 28 and March 30.
University Credit Union West Coast Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament
Thursday, March 2 to Tuesday, March 7
The UCU WCC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament is back, returning to the Orleans Arena March 2-7. The men’s and women’s tournament champions will earn automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament.
More than just basketball games, the week-long celebration will also feature the induction of a new class into the WCC Hall of Honor.
WCC men’s basketball is coming off one of the most successful seasons in the history of the Conference in 2021-22 that featured three teams in the NCAA Tournament, which tied a conference-best. No. 1 seed Gonzaga advanced to the Round of 16, while Saint Mary’s advanced to the second round, and San Francisco competed in the national tournament for the first time since 1998.
A strong WCC women’s basketball season in 2021-22 featured six teams in postseason play, including regular-season champion BYU and UCU WCC Tournament Champion Gonzaga in the Women’s NCAA Tournament.

Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tournament
Wednesday, March 8 to Saturday, March 11
The 2023 WAC Basketball Tournament is returning to Las Vegas, bringing action-packed NCAA Division I college basketball matchups. The WAC, which is expanding to 12 teams (men’s and women’s), will host its final three rounds and championship games at the Orleans Arena March 8-11. Winners of the tournament will earn automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament.

National Invitation Tournament (NIT)
Tuesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 30
The 2023 NIT semifinals and championship game will be played at the Orleans Arena on March 28 and 30. The NIT will feature a 32-team field with the first round, second round and quarterfinals played at campus sites.
The 2023 championship will be the 86th NIT. Selections, pairings and the bracket will be announced March 12 with games beginning Tuesday, March 14 and can be found on NIT.org.
Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15 at www.orleansarena.com.
