For the second time in nine days, a Las Vegas Valley resident hit a mega progressive jackpot at Gold Coast Hotel and Casino while playing Boyd Gaming’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker, winning a cash prize of more than $92,000.
The guest visited Gold Coast on Friday, December 2 to try his luck at Pai Gow Poker when he hit a seven-card straight flush (seven to king of diamonds with a joker), earning $87,535.
Winner’s luck paid off as he also hit a fortune bonus that won him an additional $5,000.
This big win follows another big Pai Gow Poker jackpot during Thanksgiving week, when another local took home a payday of more than $150,000 on November 23.
Five other Boyd Gaming destinations are participants in the Company’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker progressive, including The Orleans, Aliante, Cannery, Sam’s Town and Suncoast.
By offering the game at multiple destinations citywide, players have a shot at winning a much larger jackpot than individual properties could offer.
