Popular Regional Event “Edgeguard” Returns with Fight II Fright October 29-30 inside Luxor Las Vegas
HyperX Arena Las Vegas inside Luxor Hotel and Casino is welcoming gamers to celebrate Halloween weekend with the return of Edgeguard: Fight II Fright, the two-day regional tournament featuring multiple game genres and titles and a $10,000 prize pool.
Kicking off at 11 a.m. (doors open at 10 a.m.) on both Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday, Oct. 30, gamers can test their skills against the top players from around the region at the Vegas Strip’s only state-of-the-art dedicated gaming facility. Elevated bites and energy drink-infused cocktails will be available for players and fans throughout the weekend.
Below is the Edgeguard: Fight II Fright $10,000 prize pool breakdown:
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – $5,000 Pot Bonus
- Super Smash Bros. Melee – $2,500 Pot Bonus
- “The Dark Tournament” Crew Battle – $1,000 Winner Takes All
- Mario Kart 8 – $1,000 Pot Bonus
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Doubles Format – $500 Pot Bonus
Upon registration for a specific event, with the exception of “The Dark Tournament,” $10 will be added to the prize pool for every player within the bracket.
Two-day passes are available now and are $50 through October 1; $70 late registration ends October 15. Two-day friendlies passes also are available for $30.
