The city of Las Vegas Mayor’s Faith Initiative invites community leaders and residents to join the virtual Citywide Unity Prayer Celebration Saturday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The theme of the event is “Healing A Broken Nation – Part 2.” The virtual celebration will take place at Las Vegas City Hall in Council Chambers, located at 495 S. Main St. and is limited to 50 in-person participants due to COVID-19 safety measures. Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman will welcome participants.
“Let’s come together in prayer and peace to focus on healing our nation and ministering kindness to our neighbors,” said Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman. “We can do so much good when we work together and listen to each other.”

Livestreaming this event will allow for greater audience reach and virtual attendance of this event, which brings together our faith-based community, law enforcement, government and other members of our community to promote community-wide unity and healing through peace and prayer.
