Quarterly event held at The Gas Station Studios, a first-of-its-kind TikTok, podcast, and production studio
The City of North Las Vegas Small Business Connector invited local small business owners and entrepreneurs to The Gas Station Studios, a first-of-its-kind TikTok, podcast, and production studio in North Las Vegas, to a mixer that connected various businesses with resources provided by the North Las Vegas Small Business Connector.
Attendees of the sold-out event included chefs, IT developers, account executives, and more.
“Networking events such as this one are so important for our small business community here in North Las Vegas,” said Mayor Pro Tem Pamela Goynes-Brown. “Helping small business owners find resources to launch and expand their businesses is crucial to progressing North Las Vegas’ economy and growth.”
Since October 2021, the City of North Las Vegas’ Small Business Connector has supported nearly 562 minority-owned business enterprises, 410 women-owned business enterprises and 47 veteran-owned businesses, totaling 704 small businesses supported in less than one year.
“North Las Vegas is a hub for innovation and growth,” said Councilman Isaac Barron. “Investing in our city’s small businesses is essential to the growth of North Las Vegas and the diversification of our local economy.“
Through the City’s Revolving Loan Fund, the North Las Vegas Small Business Connector has provided $514,450 in small business loans to assist entrepreneurs and small business owners in starting and growing their businesses in North Las Vegas.
“As a recipient of the Invest North Las Vegas Revolving Loan Fund, I know how important it is for small businesses to receive support from resources such as the North Las Vegas Small Business Connector,” said Tyler Gaston, owner of Gas Station Studios.
“I’m grateful we were able to help put on a networking event at the Gas Station Studios in North Las Vegas to connect small business owners from this community.”
