The business partners recently departed from the UNLV School of Medicine this year to form their own private practice, Vegas Plastic Surgery Institute (VPSI), the premier cosmetic and reconstructive surgery specialists focused on gender surgery, microsurgery, advanced cancer and trauma reconstruction.

Dr. Brosious became the Program Director for the Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program at UNLV and developed a passion for gender-affirming surgery several years ago. Realizing that he could make a huge impact on a patient population that has been largely left behind by the healthcare system, Dr Brosious founded the Gender Surgery Program at UNLV. Dr Brosious performs hundreds of chest surgeries per year for the transgender and nonbinary-identifying populations and is the only surgeon in the state of Nevada who offers genital surgery for transgender patients. Additionally, he created a network of providers to assist with hormonal, psychiatric, and surgical care for the transgender and gender-expansive communities, which perfectly coincides with Pride Month – providing a vital service to this underserved community. He also performed Nevada’s first-ever male-to-female genital surgery creating a fully functional vagina and vulva.

Dr. Goldman has been in practice since 2019. He returned to Las Vegas as an Assistant Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Vice-Chair of Clinical Affairs, and Head of Extremity Salvage at UNLV School of Medicine. There his practice encompassed the entire spectrum of plastic surgery, both reconstructive and cosmetic. His reconstructive focus has been breast cancer, limb salvage and amputee care, microsurgery, and trauma reconstruction. Dr. Goldman is the highest volume plastic and reconstructive microsurgeon in the state, is actively involved in local, state and national medical societies, and regularly presents and publishes to international audiences on a litany of subjects within plastic surgery.
