The stage piece will find its home amongst the walls of the music venue where other pieces of art and memorabilia line the walls.
Santana Manager Michael Vrionis officially announced a multi-year extension of the residency, and County Commissioner Justin Jones awarded Santana with the Las Vegas Icon Award. Guests then enjoyed a reception before a musical surprise – a sneak peek at the Santana sound check.
Michael Vrionis, CEO of Universal Tone, said, “Today, it is with great pleasure that we make two announcements. The first, since May 2012, with the sale of tickets, the Santana residency has been responsible for a donation of more than $230,000 to benefit both the Milagro Foundation and to House of Blues’ Music Forward Foundation. The second announcement is that we have signed a multi-year extension so that Carlos can keep rockin’ at the House of Blues.”
