The Las Vegas Bowl spent the last two days visiting Clark County schools where six schools were each a recipient of $5,000 through the Extra Yard for Teachers Grant program.
Nearly $15,000 was raised at events around the December bowl game, then the College Football Playoff Foundation matched the funds allowing for the Las Vegas Bowl to award Grants equaling $30,000. The teachers used the Grants on equipment to help educate the students to the value of health and fitness.
