Corner Bar Management, the hospitality group behind Commonwealth and The Laundry Room located at 525 E. Fremont St., as well as Park on Fremont located at 506 Fremont St., will introduce its holiday “Holly Jolly on Fremont” experience starting on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Corner Bar will spread holiday cheer with its multi-venue experience, featuring holiday-themed drinks, over-the-top decorations, live music and more. Holly Jolly on Fremont will be an invitation for guests to experience a winter wonderland in multiple businesses: Park on Fremont and Commonwealth, which is home to one of Las Vegas’ best-kept secret cocktail bars, The Laundry Room.
Commonwealth will transform for the holidays, offering fresh roasted chestnuts without the open fire, a DJ on the rooftop, complimentary hand warmers and seasonal cocktails, including the Thyme With G-Ma, made with Balsamo, honey, lemon, apple bitters and soda garnished with apple rings and fresh thyme; Mistletoe-Politan, a combination of gin, green chartreuse, cassis, lemon, pomegranate and angostura, garnished with rosemary; the Cow Flippin cocktail made with cognac, cacao, maple and cream topped with nutmeg sprinkles; and the Chimney Sweepings, a combination of Kyloe, mezcal, lemon, orgeat and egg whites, garnished with a flamed lemon. Hot cocktails include the Sco-Tea Toddy, made with scotch, honey syrup, lemon, earl grey tea, orange swath and cloves; and Mulled Wine, made with red wine, orange peels, cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves and brown sugar. The Laundry Room will feature a live pianist playing holiday classics nightly.
In addition, Park on Fremont will become “Santa’s Workshop,” with ornate decorations and holiday cocktails including the Rye Not A Mule?, made with Bulleit Rye whiskey, maple syrup, lemon juice, cardamon bitters and a poached apple; Nightmare on Xmas, a mulled sour made with barrel aged cherry sour, maple syrup, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, cardamon and sliced orange; Foggy Noggin Martini, made with Bacardi Spiced Rum, Ellis Island’s Eggnog, cinnamon and nutmeg magic dust; Crantastic Park, a combination of BSB Brown Sugar Bourbon, lemon juice, orange bitters, cranberry juice and ginger ale; and S’more Coco Please!, made with 360 Madagascar Vanilla Vodka, toasted marshmallow syrup, hot cocoa, whipped cream and graham cracker crumbles.
“We’re looking forward to bringing the community together in a safe way this holiday season,” said Ryan Doherty, founder of Corner Bar. “Our skilled mixology team has created a special holiday menu and we look forward to toasting to the best time of the year and the end of 2020.”
Reservations are encouraged and can be made by visiting the Holly Jolly on Fremont website. For the health and safety of guests and in accordance with county and state mandates, Commonwealth, Park on Fremont and The Laundry Room will limit occupancy to 25 percent and follow strict guidelines, including social distancing, cleaning and disinfecting protocols.
