The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod Raises Over $12,000 After Hosting “SkyJump for a Cure” Charitable Event in Partnership with Students of the Year (w/ VIDEOS)

Throughout the day, 108 participants took the plunge from SkyJump, The STRAT’s exhilarating, open-air leap from 829 feet above the Las Vegas Valley. All proceeds from SkyJump were donated directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help reach an end goal of $50,000.

Through Students of the Year, high school students take on innovative campaigns during a seven-week competition to raise money for cures and access to treatment for blood cancer. The “SkyJump for a Cure” campaign was led by 17-year-old Kailee Olliges, who spearheaded the event as part of her personal mission to help create a world without blood cancer.
