Philadelphia Flyers’ mascot Gritty, one of the most popular and best-known mascots in sports, strutted his stuff last night on stage with the Chippendales, taking it all offfor the unsuspecting crowd at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Gritty is in Las Vegas as part of the NHL All-Star game festivities.

Chippendales, who recently won the prestigious Best of Las Vegas Award as “Best Male Revue” in Las Vegas for the 10th consecutive year, welcomed their new, furry friend with open arms. Audience members from all over the world, including Philadelphia, were surprised with the impromptu performance where Gritty got his groove on, complete with his own iconic Chippendales “cuffs and collars” wardrobe. Gritty’s jersey, and other items of clothing were soon “flying” off during his unforgettable debut (pardon the pun).
