East Coast New Year Countdown and Fireworks at Glittering Lights

Family-friendly NYE celebration at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with view of city lights behind the holiday lights

Glittering Lights presented by Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will host an east coast new year’s countdown and firework celebration to ring in 2022. The community is invited to this family-friendly event to drive through millions of lights before or after a spectacular firework show.

New Year’s Eve guests will experience the valley’s favorite holiday light show with more than 600 animated and sparkling displays and more than 5 million festive LED lights that intertwine through a 2.5-mile drivable course at the Speedway, just 10 minutes north of downtown Las Vegas.

In addition to the countdown and magical firework show with the Las Vegas city lights in the background, attendees will also enjoy holiday music, hot chocolate served by local Boy Scout troops, kettle corn, and more.

Only an Anyday Ticket is required for entry and will allow visitors to enjoy Glittering Lights and the fireworks show for as many people as will fit in their car. There is no additional charge for the fireworks.

Guests can drive through the light experience before or after the fireworks. Those planning to drive through the lights first should plan to arrive by 8:00 p.m. to make it through the lights before the countdown begins. Then there is a parking area available to enjoy the fireworks for those after driving through the lights. Entry will pause from 8:30 p.m. until after the fireworks. Additionally, a limited number of Fast Pass tickets – which allow for the best viewing of the fireworks and first entry into the light show after the fireworks – have just been released.

Glittering Lights will be open until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday (New Year’s Day) and resumes its normal schedule and pricing for the remainder of the season which runs through January 9, 2022.

TICKETS

Tickets can be purchased at glitteringlights.vegas or at the attraction entry with cash or a credit card. From Monday through Thursday (with some blackout dates), each vehicle is $25. A Carload ANY DAY Ticket (with no blackout dates) is $35 per vehicle. Buses are $2 per person with a minimum fee of the day’s entry cost. Season Passes are also available for $85 per vehicle and Fast Passes can be purchased for $55 per vehicle.
