About Angela Aguilar
A successor to the famed Aguilar family of musicians, Angela Aguilar burst onto the scene at the ripe age of nine with the release of “Nueva Tradicion.” The four-song collaborative album with her brother Leonardo Aguilar earned her a spot as the youngest performer to grace the stage at BBC’s 100 Women festival just four years later. In 2018, Aguilar’s first solo album “Primero Soy Mexicana” was met with high praise, being nominated for Best New Artist and Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album in the 19th Annual Latin GRAMMYAwards and Best Regional Mexican Music Album at the 2019 GRAMMY Awards.
