Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa Unwraps More Holiday Cheer with Giant Gingerbread Hotel (with Video)

The confectionery creation features all of the details of the resort constructed from edible sweets

The casino floor at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa has never looked sweeter. The talented team from The Bake Shop has created a five-by-nine-foot gingerbread replica of the resort. The impressive display will live in the heart of the casino floor throughout the holiday season. 

Themed “A White Christmas” the giant gingerbread hotel is blanketed in a snowy icing and features details of the resort. The sugary masterpiece took 10 talented team members and more than 100 hours of detailed work to construct. Some of the ingredients of the gingerbread creation include:

• 50 lbs of gingerbread
• 150 lbs royal icing 
• 9 lbs of rice crispy treats
• 3 lbs isomalt 
• 15 lbs of fondant
• 35 lbs sugar
• 25 lbs modeling chocolate
• 150 hours spent constructing it

Red Rock Bake Shop team members also created a gingerbread ski chalet inside Merry Crimson’s Tinsel Town, complete with a miniature ski lift. Adding to the fun, the Red Rock’s Bakeshop famous cocoa bombs return as the perfect take-home treat to enjoy spiked or with warm milk available for order online or at the Lucky Penny pastry case. 

Dashing through the desert from one holiday event to another? No sleigh, no problem. Red Rock is the official hotel partner of Enchant Christmas at the Las Vegas Ballpark. Merrymakers may now catch a complimentary shuttle from Enchant to the resort and get in the holiday spirit faster than Santa’s sleigh.

This season, Merry Crimson, the festive indoor and outdoor poolside lounge has been transformed into Tinsel Town, a venue draped in glamorous and sophisticated holiday décor. The vibrant destination welcomes guests to jingle and mingle in a picturesque escape filled with the city’s most festive cocktails, live DJ-spun music, fire pits and photo moments galore. 

Merry Crimson’s Tinsel Town is open every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Sundays from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. through Dec. 23. and then daily from Dec. 24 to Jan. 1. Guests must be 21 or older, and entry is complimentary, though reservations are highly recommended.
