Aquarius Casino Resort, located at 1900 S. Casino Dr., and Edgewater Casino Resort, located at 2020 S. Casino Dr., will host its 10th annual Christmas tree silent auction benefitting the ‘Feed A Family’ charitable initiative, which will run Saturday, Nov. 27 through Saturday, Dec. 25.
Both Laughlin properties will host a silent auction for 15 decorated and displayed Christmas trees, adorned with hundreds of festive ornaments, shimmering lights and individual themes, which will include: rockin’ around the Christmas tree; magical Christmas; holiday happy hour; Jack Frost; Star Wars; The Nutcracker; cowboy Christmas; and more.
Bids will start at $300 per tree and increases may be made in increments of $25 or more. Trees may also be purchased outright for $1,750 each. Guests may make a bid at any time at the Aquarius and Edgewater True Rewards centers or online.
“Our annual Christmas tree silent auction is one of our favorite charitable initiatives because it not only supports our local community with the funds raised, but the festive decorations help set the mood for the holiday season,” said Sean Hammond, senior vice president and general manager of Aquarius Casino Resort and Edgewater Casino Resort. “We look forward to another successful year and helping to do our part in making the holiday season special for those in need.”
Since the program began in 2012, Aquarius and Edgewater have fed more than 12,900 families. Participating food pantries include Bullhead City Homeless Youth Program, Food For Families, Mohave Valley Food Pantry, ACS Food Bank, Kingman Food Bank, Nana’s Pantry, Havasu Community Health Foundation Food Bank, Isabel’s Pantry, Needles Community Partners, Set Free Church, Cornerstone Mission and Colorado River Food Bank.
