The modern axe-throwing and lounge featured attraction presents a new cocktail called “Pretty in Pink” for the month of October, with a portion of the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society to help fight breast cancer.
For the month of October, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Dueling Axes at AREA15 will be honoring those affected by breast cancer with the American Cancer Society to raise funds and awareness towards the fight.
“Dueling Axes owners Jess Hellmich and Paul Sherry are all about giving back to the community,” said David Peterson, General Manager at Dueling Axes at AREA15. “Because of their compassion for the community, we strive to be involved as much as possible through gift card donations for various local charity organizations and fund-raising. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we wanted to show our support, and we felt that featuring the “Pretty in Pink” cocktail would be a great way to honor that. Being partnered with the Ava Rose Agency with their community outreach is key for showing our support.”
The fundraiser involves a new specialty cocktail curated by the Dueling Axes team fittingly called the “Pretty in Pink”. For every “Pretty in Pink” ordered, Dueling Axes will donate $2 to the American Cancer Society. On Tuesday, October 26, Dueling Axes will be hosting “AXE OUT CANCER”, an all-day event where 20% of all axe-throwing reservation revenue will be donated to the American Cancer Society to benefit cancer research, in addition to donations from “Pretty in Pink” cocktail sales.
The promotion will last throughout the month of October. For more information, visit Dueling Axes at AREA15’s website here.
