Vegas Unstripped, Las Vegas’ only chef-focused food festival, takes place this Saturday, Oct. 16 in the Arts District downtown.
Nearly two dozen of the city’s most acclaimed chefs will be cooking up one-night-only culinary creations for the city’s most passionate foodies. The event is augmented by beverages from Las Vegas’ best local bars, local musicians, local art and more.
- Chopped winners, James Beard nominees and other Las Vegas top chefs
- Debut appearances of three upcoming restaurants (Carver Steak at Resorts World, Half-Bird, Via Foccacia at Ellis Island)
- Las Vegas’ top foodies partying on Main Street (literally on Main Street) in the Arts District, with vaccinations/negative covid test required of all participants)
- Benefits local charities: Project REAL & SAFE House (domestic violence and legal aid); Theta Pi Lambda Foundation (mentoring underprivileged inner-city teens); ALS of Southern Nevada in memory of Chris Curtis.
When: Saturday, October 16 from 8 p.m. – Midnight Tickets will be available for purchase at the entrance at Colorado and Main from 7 pm.

Who: Several of Las Vegas’ most acclaimed and creative chefs including, but not limited to: James Trees (James Beard Award Finalist, restaurants: Esther’s Kitchen, Ada’s Wine Bar, Al Solito Posto); Brian Howard (Multiple Best Restaurant awards: Sparrow + Wolf); Bruce Kahlman (James Beard nominee, Winner of Chopped & Knife Fight, restaurant: Soul Belly BBQ); and Johnny Church (Chopped winner; restaurant: Johnny C’s Diner); Eric Gladstone, Owner of The Feast of Friends who produces Vegas Unstripped.
Vegas Unstripped is a not-for-profit event. Virtually all expenses of the independent chef/restaurateurs are covered by event revenue, and most principal staff are volunteers. Net proceeds are donated to underserved local charities.

Participating chefs represent the cutting edge of independent talent in Las Vegas, and are challenged to create unique dishes for the night reflecting their culinary passions. Virtually all expenses of the independent chef/restaurateur are covered by event revenue, with net proceeds going to underserved local charities. To date, VU has donated nearly $15,000.
