The best seat in the house just got an upgrade! House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino opens the curtain on a $4.5 million renovation this fall.
Known for its renowned combination of a made-from-scratch, southern-inspired menu; handcrafted drinks; and spectacular live music, House of Blues Restaurant & Bar reopens with a timeless distillery-style vibe, while House of Blues Box Office, Music Hall entrance and Gear Shop also underwent a full renovation to match the brand-new look and feel.
“We’re excited to showcase the new look of our venue to our fans,” said House of Blues General Manager Brian Kline. “While the venue may look different to our guests, the renovations and enhancements were designed to meet the needs of today’s discerning patron while paying respect to our brand’s rich history. We will continue to provide the same first-class dining and concert fan experience that has made House of Blues a staple in Vegas and nationally for several decades.”
The overall look of the venue provides a completely different, contemporary experience to guests, while honoring the diverse roots and music history of the famed venue. The remodel of restaurant and bar now resembles a warehouse distillery complete with modern touches throughout including corrugated metal, aged steel, wood millwork, brick walls, riveted metal panels and a copper still. Leaving no aspect of the space untouched, the restaurant and bar also feature artist murals and unique folk-art installations from the House of Blues art collection. The renovation boasts expanded patio seating overlooking the property with enhanced visuals of the performance stage, putting its soul on proud display in an open-design, drawing in guests straight from the casino floor.
With the new design, there’s not a bad seat in the house, as music lovers can enjoy the sounds from the new House of Blues Restaurant & Bar stage from the entire venue, casino floor or lounge area from the new, large, rectangular bar. Shoppers looking for a souvenir for those back home or the perfect rocking gift, can browse in the upgraded Gear Shop complete with easy access from the restaurant, floor or Music Hall. House of Blues Restaurant & Bar will also unveil new private dining spaces, complete with new concepts, just in time for holiday parties and get-togethers or to host a variety of special events and group mixers.
