This year is the 20th Anniversary of the September 11th Attacks where 343 firefighters from FDNY, 23 officers from the NYPD, and 37 officers from the PAPD lost their lives.
A sad day in the history of the fire service, and one that we must NEVER FORGET.
Working in conjunction with the PFFN (Professional Firefighters of Nevada), the Los Angeles County Firefighters Emerald Society, and the Frank Siller’s Tunnels to Towers Foundation; several events are offered.

STAIR CLIMB AT THE STRAT (THE STRATOSPHERE HOTEL)
8AM at the Strat Hotel, 2000 Las Vegas Blvd South
Please meet at the Strat at 7AM. There will be Fire, Police and Military organizations Locally and Nationally that will be participating.
Plan on attending the “Toast to the Fallen” immediately after the stair climb at the PT’s Sports Bar located inside The Strat. They will offer special food and drink pricing for this event.

Dr. Mike Brown worked at Sunrise Hospital here in Vegas. His brother was Capt Paddy Brown of FDNY Ladder 3 who was lost on Sept 11th.

ANNUAL LAS VEGAS VALLEY FIREFIGHTERS TRIBUTE MARCH
7PM – Fremont Street Downtown Las Vegas
This annual march features Honor Guards, Bagpipers, Firefighters, Police and Military.
It begins at Fremont and Main Streets, heads east down Fremont to the 3rd Street Stage. At the stage there will be a ‘Moment of Silence’, the National Anthem will be sung by Carnell (Golden Pipes) Johnson, the names of the 343 FDNY members, 23 NYPD officers, and 37 PAPD Officers shall be read. This will be followed by a tribute on the Viva Vision Canopy above the length of the Fremont Street Experience. The march will then head up 3rd Street to Downtown 3rd where collation will be available at the various establishments there.
