Earth Day 2021 is celebrated on April 22; and is a nationwide environmental teach-in to educate people in the United States on issues related to environmental pollution.
Earth Day went global in 1990, and as of today, the global environmental movement has over 75,000 partners in over 190 countries working towards protecting our planet.
Several non-profits contributed towards Earth Day activities:
Create A Change Now in partnership with Amazon and Farmer Jen Organics, helped beautify one of their sponsored school gardens. Special needs students K-5 from Cambeiro Elementary School, working with Amazon volunteers, painted the garden beds bright fun colors and planted fruit trees and summer veggies. In addition, local company, The Juice Standard, also donates pulp to local farmers and Create a Change Now. createachangenow.org
