Carl’s Donuts Debuts the Donut Hole in Downtown Las Vegas

Local infamous donut purveyor announces the opening of its second Las Vegas retail location, 2/10

Downtown Las Vegas just got a ‘hole’ lot sweeter. Carl’s Donuts, famous donut purveyor since 1966, announces the debut of its second retail location in the Las Vegas Valley, The Donut Hole.

Now open to the public with a grand opening to follow on February 10th, Carl’s Donuts expands its extensive offering of classic, fancy and specialty donuts with the opening of The Donut Hole. Located within walking distance of the hustle and bustle of the famed Fremont Street Experience, The Donut Hole welcomes downtown donut connoisseurs to its freshly renovated 1,144-square-foot space.

The intimate interior features a mix of eclectic modern touches like black and white marble tabletops, neon signage and rich ruby red tiling reminiscent of the classic coffee and donuts experience.

The Donut Hole’s opening lineup of doughy treats features the following mix of classic creations and fancy delights:

Classic:

Glazed, Red Sprinkle Ring, Maple Bar, Chocolate Bar, Sugar Ring, Jelly-filled, Bavarian Cream, Plain Cake, Chocolate Sprinkle Cake, Red Velvet Cake

Apple Fritter, Cinnamon Roll

ABOUT CARL’S DONUTS
Carl’s Donuts got its start in 1963 as a walk-up donut shop in the modified garage of a California motel. Shortly after their California success, Carl and Lynn Sanders relocated to Las Vegas and opened Carl’s Donuts in the local variety store, Wonder World.

The couple went on to open Carl’s first retail store in downtown Las Vegas in 1966. Having found success in Las Vegas, they decided to expand to wholesale operations, supplying convenience stores and businesses in the area with premium donuts made fresh daily, which they continue to this day.

As Carl’s Donuts grew as a distributor, their retail operations were put on hold, and they operated solely as a wholesale bakery for nearly two decades. In April of 2018, Carl’s Donuts made its return to retail with the opening of their Sunset location and quickly regained the popularity they once had with locals. Maintaining its foray as a family-owned business, the iconic Las Vegas bakery is now overseen and operated by Carl and Lynn’s grandchildren, Amber and Brock Ramsay. The pair has held onto the nostalgia of the classic donut shop they grew up in, while incorporating new flavors and trends that align with the current taste of their customers.
