On Saturday, Dec. 16, MMA fighter Leon Edwards celebrated his title reign in the welterweight division of UFC 296 with an epic celebration at the famed XS Nightclub inside Wynn Las Vegas.
The champ arrived around 1:30 a.m. with a group of 15 including fellow UFC fighter Alexander Volkanovski and walked into the venue as the iconic belt lay draped over his shoulder.
Awaiting at his exclusive VIP table was an over-the-top welcome featuring oversized signage that read “Champ” and bottles of Don Julio 1942 tequila.
Edwards later joined headliner Gryffin in the DJ booth, where he jumped up on stage with the belt and was seen dancing and hyping up the crowd to Queen’s song “We Are The Champions.”
Volkanovski later joined Gryffin and Edwards in the DJ booth where they posed for photos.
The group celebrated until 3:30 a.m. before departing the venue.
Also spotted celebrating at XS Nightclub was English singer-songwriter and former One Direction band member, Louis Tomlinson.
