About KÀ
KÀ is a spectacular theatrical production by Cirque du Soleil that premiered in 2005 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It is a combination of acrobatics, martial arts, puppetry, and multimedia technology, and tells the story of a twin brother and sister who embark on a perilous journey to fulfill their destiny.
KÀ features a massive, multi-level stage that rotates and moves vertically, allowing performers to defy gravity and perform aerial stunts.
The show also includes a variety of innovative special effects, including projections, pyrotechnics, and water effects.
The show’s name, “KÀ,” is derived from the ancient Egyptian belief in the “ka,” a spiritual essence that defines an individual’s life force.
The show explores the themes of love, conflict, and destiny, and is known for its stunning visuals, intricate choreography, and breathtaking stunts.
