Kicking off 2023 with a bang, a lucky guest from Wisconsin hit a major progressive jackpot at The Orleans Hotel and Casino while playing Boyd Gaming’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker.
On Sunday, January 1, the guest was visiting Las Vegas with his family for the New Year holiday when he scored a seven-card straight flush (five to jack of clubs with a joker), earning $118,553.
Keeping the earnings coming, the winner took home an additional $5,000 for the $5 fortune bonus bet.
Marking the first Table Games jackpot of the year at The Orleans Hotel and Casino, this big win follows three recent Pai Gow Poker jackpots in the last five weeks at a Boyd Gaming property on November 23, December 2 and December 8.
