“Anderson,” a local resident playing Pai-Gow Poker for the first time started the Thanksgiving holiday off with a bang, winning more than $150,000 on Boyd Gaming’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker on Wednesday, November 23.
Anderson was at Gold Coast Hotel and Casino with friends from Texas to have lunch at Ping Pang Pong.
After lunch, Anderson’s friends convinced him to give Pai-Gow Poker a try, and he soon drew a hand to give thanks for — a seven-card straight flush with an Ace-King in the hole, good for $152,768.
Five other Boyd Gaming destinations are participants in the Company’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker progressive, including The Orleans, Aliante, Cannery, Sam’s Town and Suncoast.
By offering the game at multiple destinations citywide, players have a shot at winning a much larger jackpot than individual properties could offer.
