Meet & Greet Series offers an opportunity for the public to witness gaming history through those who lived it.
Visitors to the Casino Collectibles Association’s 29th annual Casino Chip and Collectibles Show in Vegas will have a unique opportunity to meet and chat with four prominent figures who were eyewitnesses to gaming history. Here are the celebrities who will headline the new informal Celebrity Meet & Greet Gaming Education Series, the latest addition to the World’s Largest Casino Chip and Collectibles exhibition, which runs Thursday thru Saturday, June 16-18, 2022, at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas:
Tom McEvoy (pictured above) He won the 1983 World Series of Poker Main Event and was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2013. Talk poker with him 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, June 16 and 17.
Chris Andrews. He turned the sportsbook at the tiny Cal Neva casino into one of the biggest and most successful sportsbook in Nevada. Talk sports betting with him 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 16.
J. Michael Niotta, Ph.D. His great grandfather was LA “Godfather” Jack Dragna who, along with partners like Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel, helped pioneer the offshore gambling industry and the racing wire service. Visit with him from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday June 17.
Dustin Marks. 35 years ago, he dealt blackjack and cheated the casinos out of millions of dollars – and never got caught. Meet him from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18.
The Celebrity Meet & Greet Gaming Education Series is the personification of the Casino Collectibles Association’s objective to foster the preservation and education of gaming history. Each gaming celebrity has volunteered their time to greet, meet and mingle with show attendees, answer their questions and satisfy their curiosity about the personality’s unique role in the shaping of the gaming industry we know today.

The Casino Collectibles Association’s annual show is open to the public. It features casino chip experts and their displays dedicated to a multitude of gaming chip categories such as rare chips, roulette chips, counterfeit chips, illegal casino chips, odd denomination chips and collections dedicated to sports and even aliens. Additional collections on display will include gaming tokens, dice, slot cards, playing cards, matchbooks, menus, dinnerware, swizzle sticks, casino photos, postcards and more.
Concurrent to the Show, as part of the Casino Collectibles Association’s educational endeavors, the club hosts four educational seminars which are offered to the public free of charge. A live auction of hundreds of casino chips and other casino memorabilia is also offered at no charge to show attendees. The Casino Chips and Collectibles Show registration and admission is open to the public on June 16, 10 AM – 5 PM (admission $10), June 17, 9 AM – 4 PM (admission $5) and June 18, 9 AM – 4 PM (admission is free).
