ABOUT REFUGE FOR WOMEN LAS VEGAS:
Refuge for Women is the nation’s largest non-profit, faith-based organization providing a continuum of care for women, age 18 and older, who have escaped human trafficking or sexual exploitation. Since establishing a chapter in Southern Nevada in 2015, the 501(c)3 organization has helped sexually exploited women across Southern Nevada live a life of freedom though faith-based, residential healing programs. In Las Vegas, the organization currently provides free, long-term housing for residents, including onsite support from the Refuge for Women staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Residents are provided with counselors, casework managers and experience opportunities for financial savings, job support and time to practice healthy rhythms of life with safe people in a healthy community. A transitional housing program is also available for graduates of the long-term program. For more information go to www.refugeforwomen.org/lasvegas or visit its Instagram and Facebook pages
