Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge and Eight Lounge, located in Resorts World Las Vegas, were host to one of the biggest names in comedy Friday night.
During Gatsby’s monthly first Friday celebration, “Return of the Gatz,” Cedric Antonion Kyles, better known as Cedric the Entertainer, surprised partygoers around 1 a.m. by joining in the night’s festivities. The star of hit movies including “Barbershop” and “Big Momma’s House” as well as the popular television show “The Neigborhood,” was dressed to make a statement in black pants, a light pink and black shirt complete matching wide-brimmed hat. In town for his stand-up show at The Amp at Craig Ranch Park on Saturday, the comedic star ordered a bottle of Casamigos Reposado and Hennessy V.S.O.P. Privilége cognac at the vibrant lounge before making his way to Eight Lounge around 2:30 a.m. where he finished his night with a tour of the lounge’s custom-built walk-in humidor from general manager and cigar ambassador Ian Floranza.
Cedric was not the only celebrity in attendance at Eight Lounge as Kenny Clark, Pro Bowl nose tackle for the Green Bay Packers, had arrived at the luxe cigar and cocktail lounge earlier in the night. Arriving around 11:30 p.m., the all-star defensive lineman was dressed casually in jeans and a t-shirt. After receiving a tour of the humidor from Floranza, Clark selected an El Septimo cigar to savor for duration of his visit.
