From Mother’s Day menus to Cinco de Mayo specials Kentucky Derby, and a new lunch menu at WAKUDA, guests have plenty of ways to make memories with Mom, family and friends at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas this May.
MOTHER’S DAY
BOUCHON
Bouchon by Chef Thomas Keller is ready to celebrate Mom this Mother’s Day with a special three-course brunch featuring signature favorites, including Tarte au Saumon Fumé (bagel tart with smoked salmon & crème fraiche), Gnocchis de Homard (poached Maine lobster with potato gnocchi, asparagus, fava beans & fines herb beurre blanc), Bénédicte au Crabe (jumbo lump crab with Bouchon Bakery English muffin, poached eggs, English peas, roasted mushrooms and Hollandaise sauce) and mignardises for dessert.
This prix fixe menu is $75 per person and is available May 14.
BRERA OSTERIA
For all the meals Mom has cooked, BRERA Osteria is serving up a Mother’s Day brunch fit for a queen. Nothing says “thank you for being such a great mom” quite like a tasting menu that includes poached Maine lobster with crème cheese-filled squash blossoms, ravioli filled with English peas, organic egg and preserved winter black truffles, prime filet mignon and blue lump crab and, as a sweet finish, a strawberry pistachio cake.
The full tasting menu is $125 per person or available à la carte.
BUDDY V’S RISTORANTE
Take Mom to Buddy V’s Ristorante and have a taste of everything at the Mother’s Day brunch buffet. Guests can nosh on an elaborate selection of the Cake Boss’ Italian favorites from seven food stations set up throughout the restaurant, including antipasto, pizza, mac n’ cheese, meatballs, frittatas, turkey, cheesecake, cannoli, tiramisu and more.
Brunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and is $58 per adult or $25 per child. Guests can add all-you-can-drink libations for $24 per person.
CHICA
Make it a family celebration and join Chef Lorena Garcia at CHICA for a truly decadent Latin American Mother’s Day brunch. Available only on May 14, treat Mom to Lobster Relleno, a poached 2-pound Maine lobster with lo macho sauce, and for dessert, Arroz con Leche, or Spanish rice pudding, with crème brulee, caramelized pineapple and vanilla whipped cream.
MATTEO’S RISTORANTE ITALIANO
Buona Festa della Mamma! Say Happy Mother’s Day the Italian way at Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano. Pamper Mom with a four-course tasting menu beginning with a Dungeness crab salad, followed by risotto with sea scallops, surf and turf that includes Maine lobster and prime filet mignon and, for the final course, chocolate hazelnut mousse.

YARDBIRD
Yardbird wants to honor Mom this Mother’s Day and has created exceptional dishes to do just that. In addition to the regular menu, specials include Smoked Salmon Benedict with a housemade English muffin, petite vegetable crema, garlic wilted spinach, dill caper hollandaise and baby arugula salad.
For something sweeter, Mom can try the Blueberry Upside-Down Cake made with lemon cornmeal pound cake and fresh blueberries, complete with a side of vanilla ice cream.
CINCO DE MAYO
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at CHICA with special dishes created by Chef Lorena Garcia. Guests can get the party started with the Sundaze cocktail made with tequila, mezcal, aperol, lime juice, and orange slices.
Then, dive into specials including the Chile Relleno de Mariscos (roasted poblano, lobster-scallop salpicón, red peanut mole), Bone Marrow & Salsa Macha (roasted bone marrow, Morita-peanut salsa macha, grilled mojo bread) and the dessert of all desserts, the ¡Calavera Fiesta!, also known as the flaming skull.
This Instagram-worthy dessert is hand painted and adorned with a Mexican flower crown. The party at CHICA continues all night long with Cinco de Mayo-themed Chica Nights, live music and fire dancers.
KENTUCKY DERBY
ELECTRA COCKTAIL CLUB at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas will celebrate the 149th running of the greatest two minutes in sports – The Kentucky Derby – with a viewing party Saturday, May 6. Get in the spirit with mint juleps done four different ways, including the classic with bourbon, water, shaved ice, and fresh mint; the Hanky Panky with bourbon, sweet vermouth, cherry liqueur, lemon juice, blackberries, simple syrup and mint leaves; the Camp Fire with Licor 43, cinnamon syrup, mint leaves and lemon juice; and the Georgia Peach made with bourbon, absinthe, peach liqueur, lemon juice, mint, simple syrup and bitters.
Guests can watch the race on the 40-foot digital screen that spans one entire wall for optimal viewing. Doors open at 3 p.m.
WAKUDA – NEW LUNCH AND LOUNGE HOURS
Guests no longer need to wait for dinner to dine at WAKUDA. The high-end, modern Japanese restaurant by two Michelin-starred chef Tetsuya Wakuda is now open for lunch with a la carte and prix fixe menu options Friday – Sunday from 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Dishes include ramen, fish & chips, prime tenderloin, grilled New Zealand King salmon and more. A sake or wine tasting can be added to the prix fixe menu for an additional $30.
Now open at 3 p.m. daily, the WAKUDA lounge is the perfect place to go after lunch for afternoon cocktails or late nights with light bites. The sophisticated lounge features a cutting-edge, hand-crafted mixology program, specializing in Japanese ingredients, and a menu that boasts nearly 100 sakes, plus an array of Japanese whisky.
