Gold Spike, Downtown Las Vegas’ premier nightlife haunt announces the return of DTLV’s biggest Halloween bash, ‘Fright Spike’!
With five nights of frights and over $10,000 in prizes, creatures of the night are invited to dance, drink and be scary all Hallo-week long.
Thursday, October 27th – Damned & Derby
Down & Derby’s signature roller disco transforms into a scary skate night of ‘undead’ proportions. Beginning at 10 p.m., Damned & Derby invites ghouls and guys to lace up their skates and compete in Halloween-themed contests throughout the night including a Group Costume contest featuring over $1,000 in cash and prizes and a costume edition of the event’s signature Limbo competition. DJs SHR3D and PhorEyez will scare up some tunes while guests enjoy sponsored drink specials by Jameson, Malibu and ruly.
Friday, October 28th– Disco of the Dead Disco is dead, at least for the night. Hosted by MP Art, the deceased and decrepit are invited to go disco dancing and participate in an all-styles dance contest for the chance to win over $2,000 in cash and prizes. The party starts at 10 p.m., sounds will be skulking through the Living Room provided by DJ J-Krazy and by DJ Valid in the Backyard.
Saturday, October 29th – Stranger Tingz The ‘upside down’ turns ‘right side up’ at Gold Spike for Stranger Tingz. Beware the Demogorgons that go bump in the night – Hallo-weekend’s biggest night will be a night to dismember. Hosted by MP Art, costumed partygoers can compete for $4,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded to guests in three categories including Best Overall, Funniest and Sexiest Female. Guests can indulge in concoctions sponsored by Crown Royal, Smirnoff and Ketel One while DJs A-Ron and Presto One ward off the Mindflayer with the latest jams.
Sunday, October 30th – Beso De Muerte Who knew the kiss of death could taste so sweet? Gold Spike’s signature Latin-infused event is hotter than h-e-double hockey sticks, inviting revelers to participate in a ‘Day of the Dead’ costume contest featuring over $1,000 in cash and prizes. DJs Tommy Lin and KevinAux will usher in the spirit of the evening with the latest in Latin while costume-less attendees can embrace the theme with complimentary face painting from 9 p.m. to midnight.
Monday, October 31st–Carnevil Gold Spike’s fifth and final fright is no laughing matter. Beware the Killer Klowns, they’ll send your nerves a’scatter! Fright Spike’s final Halloween haunt isn’t for the faint of heart – guaranteed to be the largest Halloween costume contest in DTLV, $4,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to guests in three categories including Best Overall, Best Couple and Sexiest Female. Costumed creatures, critters and vixens alike will be judged throughout the evening while DJ Clouty scares up some tunes in the Living Room while TeenWolf casts a spell over the Backyard.
Trick-or-treat your way through Fremont East for a devilishly good time. Inspire’s “Downtown Asylum” returns all weekend long with four nights and three floors of frights including multiple DJs, drink specials, and thrills around every corner. Head over to Corduroy for four nights of Halloween festivities starting on Friday, October 28th and continuing through Monday, October 31st. Themes include “A Night At The Overlook Hotel” and “Party Like A Dead Rockstar.”
