Last night, country music star Dustin Lynch surprised fans at The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas when he took the stage to perform two songs for the energetic crowd.
Arriving to the hidden speakeasy shortly after 11 p.m., Lynch was joined by a group of friends from high school. The two-time American Country Award winner and CMT Music Award winner joined The 442s to rock the lounge twice during the night. Joining The 442s members, Ben Carey (Savage Garden, Lifehouse and Brett Young), Justin Carder (The Feds and toured with Evanescence), Eric Runquist (Ben Folds) and Al Serrato (The Hellenbacks), Lynch launched into a cover of “My Own Worst Enemy” by Lit, thrilling the audience into a boisterous sing-along. The country music star later closed the night with a cover of “Free Fallin’” by Tom Petty to raucous applause from guests.
Wanting to celebrate a reunion of old friends with live music, the group was dressed casually and drank Michelob Ultra and sipped on bourbon throughout their visit. When not on stage, Lynch spent the night dancing and interacting with fans throughout the lounge, stopping to talk and take pictures. The group stayed at the speakeasy until after 2 a.m. to hang out with the band before ending their Friday night.
The Barbershop is a popular spot for superstar artists like Machine Gun Kelly, Zac Brown, Gavin DeGraw and Macy Gray to surprise audiences in a cool, intimate bar.
