Paisley Honored the Lucky Couple During His Sold-Out Performance at Wynn Las Vegas’ Encore Theater
On Saturday night, country music star Brad Paisley celebrated Clark County’s 5-Millionth marriage licensees – Mayra Ramirez and Luis Pantoja of Patterson, Calif. – with the dedication of his hit song “Then” during his second “Acoustic Storyteller” engagement at Wynn Las Vegas’ Encore Theater this weekend.
Paisley, who recently put a call out for the couple on his Instagram after seeing photos of Pantoja wearing a Brad Paisley t-shirt at Clark County’s celebration and his pending nuptials, acknowledged the couple during the sold-out performance, bringing them backstage following the show for a private meet and greet.
In addition to celebrating the Pantojas recent nuptials, Paisley also celebrated another couple who got engaged during his Saturday night performance. Visiting from Idaho, the couple got engaged during Paisley’s performance of “Whiskey Lullaby,” receiving booming applause and cheers from the crowd. Following the show, Paisley welcomed the couple backstage to share his congratulations and take photos.
Throughout the performance, Paisley delighted the crowd with acoustic performances of his celebrated hits like “Letter to Me,” “Little Moments” and “American Saturday Night” and shared engaging storytelling from throughout his career.
The weekend’s sold-out performances saw star-studded crowds, with actress Cheryl Hines in attendance on Friday night and country music star Shania Twain in the audience on Saturday.
