River Rock Pizza & Pasta to Bring Fresh Italian Cuisine and Rockin’ Vibes to Arizona Charlie’s Decatur
Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, located at 740 S. Decatur Blvd., will introduce a rockin’ new Italian restaurant to its dining lineup with River Rock Pizza & Pasta, set to open later this summer.
This will be the second location for River Rock Pizza & Pizza, following the success of its first award-winning location at Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nev.
River Rock Pizza & Pasta brings a fun, rock ‘n’ roll vibe to authentic Italian cuisine made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The 2,250-square-foot restaurant and bar will seat up to 158 guests, in addition to offering takeout for guests on the go.
River Rock’s décor will channel the rebellious spirit of rock music, incorporating rustic elements with eye-catching accents, including brick walls adorned with records from rock legends, iconic song lyrics and classic album covers.

The menu is highlighted by Neapolitan-style pizza, including several signature and build-your-own options; assorted starters, fresh salads and an array of Italian pasta dishes. Signature pizzas include Brooklyn style, topped with meatballs, spicy capicola, pepperoni, red onion, ricotta cheese and a signature sauce; margherita with fresh mozzarella cheese, tomato and basil; and roasted chicken and spinach with provolone and mozzarella cheeses, chili flakes and a garlic white sauce. More than 20 toppings are available to customize pizzas.
An expansive selection of entrées and pasta include shrimp and capellini, featuring scampi-style shrimp and angel hair pasta topped with a house-made pomodoro sauce and fresh basil; red wine-braised short ribs served with cavatelli pasta, roasted wild mushrooms and fresh herbs; and grilled New York marsala, a thinly sliced New York steak topped with braised onions and mushrooms, bacon and a marsala wine sauce.
Starters include Nona’s Meatballs, featuring beef and pork blend meatballs topped with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese and served with garlic bread; calamari fries served with spicy marinara, lemon basil aioli, pickled peppers and crushed pine nuts; and toasted ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and topped with parmesan cheese and spicy tomato basil sauce.
An expansive bar selection includes domestic and import beers, signature cocktails and wine selections by the glass and bottles.
River Rock Pizza & Pasta will be open from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
