Resorts World Las Vegas welcomed “Enchant on the Strip” with an inaugural tree lighting ceremony.
Officially kicking off the holiday season, executives from Resorts World Las Vegas and Enchant were joined by invited guests as they gathered to witness the incredible 100-foot-tall tree come to life at the stunning park located in front of the Strip’s newest resort.
The event began as the park erupted with magical music and an ensemble of performers including a drum corps, elves, and Enchant guardians appeared, and the evening’s emcee, Las Vegas comedian and performer Brett Alters, welcomed guests from the Hallmark Channel Main Stage.
Shortly after, Resorts World Las Vegas President, Scott Sibella, along with Founder and CEO of Enchant, Kevin Johnston, took the stage and shared a special thanks to all the teams who came together to bring the stunning space to life.
Rounding out the ceremony, guests were in for a treat as acclaimed vocalist Sophia Monica, who has been featured in several Las Vegas productions, performed a stirring rendition of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”
As the time came to officially light the tree, the big man himself, Santa, decided to crash the party as he took over the stage and led the crowd in an extravagant countdown. As the crowd shouted “Enchant” all eyes turned to the center of the park as the largest tree to hit the Strip lit up for all to see.
The destination was filled with excitement and joy as guests including Zouk Nightclub resident, Tiësto and his family, took in the stunning sights and magical entertainment throughout the night.
“Enchant On The Strip” is the biggest holiday celebration ever produced in Las Vegas and is a must-see destination this holiday season. The 217,000-square-foot immersive winter wonderland includes a one-of-a-kind walk-thru light maze experience, four million lights, 100-foot-tall holiday tree, 17,000-square-foot ice skating rink, live entertainment, Santa visits, interactive games and a holiday marketplace featuring local artisans.
It is the first location in Las Vegas to open this season, with a second location opening at Las Vegas Ballpark on Nov. 25.
Adding to the excitement, Resorts World curated a culinary menu exclusive to “Enchant on The Strip” which features warm and comforting fare like brats, pretzels, clam chowder, holiday treats, and more.
Nationally sponsored by the Hallmark Channel, the popular television network offers a variety of branded experiences throughout the space including the Hallmark Channel Holiday House for guests to relax and recharge, photo opportunities, and a chance for guests to win a trip to the set of a Hallmark Channel movie.
