Corner Bar Management’s popular new downtown bar will bring romance with pupusas, tequila flights paired with cake pops, and funky beats
Lucky Day, a 3,000-square-foot tequila and mezcal bar located at 516 Fremont St., will set a romantic scene in honor of Valentine’s Day with a la cruda hangover brunch and romantic evening on Sunday, Feb. 14.
Sparks will fly at Lucky Day’s la cruda hangover brunch with two-hour seating options available at noon and 2 p.m., available for $15 per person. The brunch will include all-you-can-eat pupusa fiesta packages and bottle service from the restaurant’s new mezcal mini bar, which features three unique 100-milliliter bottles of mezcal. Brunch selections will include three different pupusas: cheese, pork and cheese, and a vegan option with soyrizo and almond cheese, served with sauce on the side. In addition, the restaurant will also serve house-made chips, guacamole and salsa.
Love won’t be the only thing in the air at Lucky Day, with an evening performance featuring funk and RnB tunes by DJ Moose. The restaurant will offer “tequila pop” cocktail flights, with two-hour seating options available at 8 and 10 p.m., available for $30 per person. Guests will receive tequila or mezcal flights paired with Valentine’s Day themed cake pops.
Conceptualized and designed by Corner Bar Management founder, Ryan Doherty, Lucky Day blends a cacophony of pesos, knick-knacks, discarded fortunes, eccentric art, stained glass windows and tattered memories with a canopy of 15,000 custom handmade programmable LED lights in all shapes and sizes. A living, breathing art installation, the lights were designed by innovative art production agency, Building 180, and created by renowned artist, Keegan Olton.
Lucky Day is reservation only Tuesday through Sunday from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., with limited walk-up service available during those hours. Reservations can be made by texting 702-291-7599. Lucky Day will be in full adherence to government health and safety mandates set by the State of Nevada, which include full mask requirements for employees and guests, entry temperature checks and strict social distancing.
